I found it
Besides eating good food at Bierstube and enjoying the great Mississippi river. Discovered
tucked passed Buffalo Bills home, a small settlement a few miles away. The settlement was
made up of buildings donated through out and moved there, but several had still stood from
when they been built there. It was as if stepping back into time.

LeClaire, IA. on the Mississippi river. We ate at the Bierstube around 9:30 pm. Good service which is
always important. What out shined their service was the food. I had the Bierstube burger (1/2 pound
patty, sauerkraut and melted muenster cheese on a toasted kaiser ) and the burger was cooked just how
I like it. So if your ever there stop in, watch the river go bye, drink and eat well.

Diaz Fast Food one of my favorite places when I am in Oswego, Illinois. Family ran and a
friendly atmosphere. If your in the area stop, meet and eat.

At Famous Dave's when visiting there and the other night proved once more why I will return again.
Beyond friendly hostess, lightly joking waiter in return to comments made from a friend and I the food
was once again to my liking. But not all were happy when the waiter returned asking how things were. Not
complaining my friend stated the food sucked this time around and explained why. The waiter several
times asked if she wanted him to take it back. Replying no she would accept what she got the waiter
walked away. Several minutes later the manager visited our table asking what was to her dis-liking. After
explaining her dis appointment in the meal, the manager and her went back in fourth about replacing the
out of it. To the manager and waiter of Famous Dave's it was a big deal with in minutes she had a new
plate of food that was to her liking and what she normally expected from previous visits.
Don't we wish all would take this much pride in making sure their customers are satisfied instead of the
take it or leave attitude that as been so overwhelming from businesses today.

1/28/2012 Michigan. The pictures above were taken on a jvc camcorder and samsung phone at night between 5:00pm to
8:00 pm on lake Michigan. It was very windy and cold. Reviews of places visited on this trip were few, and can find them in

best Popeyes I had ate at. If you did not know the area you would have to
wonder what the bullet proof divider was for. Wise Guy server behind the
counter not to get beat up. But because of the area you know why the divider
is there. There was two issues the garbage cans in front of the door and the
divider was not up high enough causing interference with the menu. Over all
great staff and great chicken that Popeyes is known for. 1/17/2012
